Meeting Rooms
The library has a meeting room that is 16 x 20 and can hold up to 50 people.
The library meeting room is used for all kinds of programs, meetings, and public gatherings. The room can fit approximately 50 people in chairs only, and about 25 comfortably if all tables are used as well. The library holds regular programs for children, teens, and adults in the meeting room, and several local organizations use the room for regular meetings. Goverment officials and other groups use the meeting room to hold public gatherings. Private individuals may also reserve the room for birthday parties, showers, etc.
If you are interested in reserving the library meeting room, please read, fill out and sign the following document to apply for use of the meeting room. If you are applying for use after or before library hours, please fill out the Key Pickup Form as well. Keys must be picked up in advance during regular library hours. Forms can be emailed to library@grundycenter.lib.ia.us or dropped off at the library during regular library hours.
Completion of an application form does not guarantee Meeting Room usage. The Meeting Room is filled on a first come, first serve basis.

The library has its Genealogy Room that can hold up to 12 people
This room is available for smaller meetings and private study during regular library hours only. The genealogy room is available on a first come, first serve basis, but the room may be reserved in advance by making a request to library staff.
Completing the meeting room usage application is not necessary when reserving the genealogy room.
