Escape Room:

June 3rd - 7th Kling Memorial Library will feature an epic adventure escape room.  You’re on board a spaceship, a passenger ship to Mars. But you didn’t expect to be attacked by space pirates during your journey. Now you’re locked in the cargo hold and the blast doors won’t open. Any moment you and your fellow passengers could be ejected into the cold heart of space. What will you do to ESCAPE?  Suited for participants ages 14 and up in groups of 4-10 people, 1 hour is allotted for each group.  Younger kids may participate, but adult supervision is required and necessary if hoping to escape.  Reservations are required to ensure an out of this world experience for each group.

We're KICKING-OFF summer reading on Saturday, JUNE 8th with a Jedi Training Camp and picnic lunch.  Children, teens, and adults can sign up to win prizes for reading and getting out in the community this summer.  The reading program will run from June 10th - July 11th.

Reading Goals:

Each participant will receive a sheet of 25 reading challenges based on their age group. Students can pick and choose which goals they would like to complete when, with the objective of completing all 25 challenges.  Students must also write down on their sheet the title & author of each book or magazine article they've read or the date they completed the challenge.

* An incentive prize will be given to each participant for every 5 reading goals completed
  on their reading challenge sheet

* A fully completed sheet will put that participant in the running for the Grand Prize
  Giveaway for their age group.
