JobNow offers carefully-selected job resources, including an exclusive partnership with eParachute, a new service created by What Color is Your Parachute? author Dick Bolles. Users can also connect to an expert JobNow Coach to learn efficient job search strategies, receive expert resume and cover letter writing assistance, practice interview skills online, and more.

VetNow supports your community’s veterans and their families with navigating the VA bureaucracy, providing academic tutoring, and employment transition assistance. The Brainfuse VetNow Navigator helps veterans and families understand and apply for eligible benefits. The VetNow Navigator will be able to answer questions related to benefits eligibility; refer patrons to applicable community resources for house, healthcare and education benefits.

IWD is a state agency committed to providing employment services for individual job seekers through our IowaWORKS partnership. Employers and businesses can post jobs, hire veterans and apply for qualifying federal tax credits. IWD continually strives to improve processes and align the organization in such a way to provide effective, demand-driven products and services. IWD staff in Des Moines consists of administrative, labor services, workers’ compensation, labor market information, and the unemployment insurance services staff. The agency also maintains a statewide delivery system of 15 regional, 4 satellite, and 8 expansion offices to provide services to Iowans in communities demonstrating need.
