Genealogy Collection

The library has a collection of genealogical materials including local family histories, cemetery records and other items of interest.
 

The library's Genealogy Room is located in the back of the library. It is open during regular library hours. Materials available include plat maps of Grundy County from various year, Grundy Center High School Annuals from 1909, copies of the Grundy Center Newspaper from 1868 - 2019, cemetery records, and various other items of local historical importance.

Please visit our digitized newspapers from Grundy Center from 1868 - 2008. They are indexed to be keyword searchable. Thanks to the Sara Lee Yoder Charitable Trust for generously funding the project!
