Donations

We welcome donations of materials throughout the year! Donations may be added to the library's collection or given to the Friends of the Library to include in the next book sale. We do ask that donations meet the following criteria:

1. No broken or missing covers.
2. No torn, missing, marked, or highlighted pages.
3. No stained, moldy, or wet pages; no books with bad odors.
4. No 8-Tracks, records, or cassette tapes.
5. No encyclopedias
6. No textbooks
7. No homemade videos or tapes.
8. No Iowa Code books, except current year.
9. No VHS tapes.

As the library and Friends have the right to refuse any materials that do not meet the above criteria, we ask that people do not leave donations unattended in the library, outside the library's main entrance, or in the library dropbox.

We do accept books, DVDs, and puzzles of all sizes for book sales. 

Monetary donations may also be made to the Friends of Kling Memorial Library anytime throughout the year.
